I was totally blown away when GZG (Ground Zero Games) came out with the new N.A.C. soldiers. Then with some inspiration from the Dropship Horizon blog I decided to paint a platoon of old and new mixed together. The idea was to have a reinforced platoon with as few duplicate poses as possible. There is a 5 man command section and 4 8 man squads, along with 2 mortar teams, a sniper team and an AT team.
I'm very pleased with how these came out. The paint scheme is from a painting guide on Mongrel Miniatures website on how to paint 80's NATO British. Then I added my science fiction flair to it.
